As you might know, we have distributed three surveys today. One of these surveys is to evaluate the Sheffield Chinese School. The other two surveys document people's needs for extra services that the Sheffield Chinese School could offer, such as an English B2 course and an IT workshop.
At this moment, we have collected some preliminary responses to our general Evaluation Survey from parents who attended today's school. Of the 19 responses collected thus far, responses are overwhelmingly positive. All parents for example agreed that the school is well-led and well-managed. They would all recommend the school to parents, and found the school offered good value for money. This is excellent news, and we are very happy parents are happy with us. There are also some things we will improve. One parent indicated that he was not kept informed of the school developementsa, events and matters of interest sufficiently. Another parent indicated the school could offer a wider range of cultural activities. Parents also suggested a more healthy tuck shop (including fruit), more academic feedback to parents during the year. Over the summer we will discuss how we can address the issues raised. We are very happy 99% of our parents are very satisfied with our school, and look forward to raising this to 100%! In the coming weeks we will process all responses and provide elaborative feedback on this website and in our personal communication to parents. / Thank you to everyone who came to support our Chinese New Year celebration on Sunday 2nd February 2014, helping us celebrate the Year of the Horse.
